Teaching
Besides acquiring knowledge, I consider sharing it as one of my core duties. For more than twelve years now, I have intensively focused on communicating both novel scientific results and basic knowledge with great enthusiasm to various groups, including bachelor, master, and Ph.D. students. At all these levels, I have supervised multiple theses, with most of my students being women or from minority backgrounds.
I have given a full lecture series on quantum field theory at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. This included creating a teaching concept, developing homework assignments, and examining and grading students. I lectured at the Les Houches Summer School on Dark Matter in 2021 and at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study in March 2022. Additionally, I have delivered several single lectures (on general relativity and hydrodynamics) at Bielefeld University. In July 2023, I delivered lectures at the University of Barcelona. Most recently, in September 2024, have lectured at an International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS), held at Wanzleben Castle in Germany. In the future, I plan to continue my involvement in teaching, both in seminars and doctoral schools, as well as lecture series on advanced and basic topics.
Evaluations of my courses have shown the positive impact of my engagement. I actively listen to my students, striving to present the material in a passionate and accessible way to benefit everyone according to their abilities. I maintain an open-door policy outside of class hours and encourage students to reach out with any questions.
